
Asian shares are mostly higher in thin Good Friday trading after a bumpy ride on Wall Street, where the Dow industrials lost 1.3% as UnitedHealth lost more than a fifth of its value due to a weaker-than-expected profit report.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 gained 0.6% to 34,583.29, while the Kospi in South Korea rose 0.3% to 2,478.39.
