Asian Games: Manika Batra, Sharath Kamal, G Sathiyan storm into pre-quarterfinals

NEW DELHI: Star India paddlers Manika Batra, Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan displayed dominant performances as the trio reached the pre-quarterfinals in the table tennis competition at the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Thursday.

Sharath Kamal, who had previously won a team bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games, left no room for Mohammed Shaffan Ismail of Maldives, registering an easy 11-9, 11-2, 11-7, 11-7 win.
