NEW DELHI: Indian cricketing legends Sunil Gavaskar and Kris Srikkanth hailed Ravichandran Ashwin as an 'exceptionally outstanding cricketer', crediting his remarkable success to unwavering self-confidence and the backing he received from former BCCI president N Srinivasan.

Ashwin On Saturday was honored by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) for his remarkable achievements of playing 100 Tests and claiming 500 wickets.
