Ashton Kutcher joked that he will no longer be able to win an argument with his wife Mila Kunis after she was named in Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2022.
The 44-year old actor made light of the situation on social media after his wife Mila, 38, found herself listed alongside others who have made a huge impact in the world over the past year.
Peers and colleagues are invited by the magazine to pen an endorsement of each honouree, and in Mila's case, the job was given to Guardians of the Galaxy star, Zoe Saldaña.
She wrote: "There’s this old-soul quality you receive from Mila Kunis the moment you meet her. She gives 100% to each and every one of her roles: as a mother, as a wife, as a daughter, as a granddaughter, as a friend, as a producer, as an actor.
"She goes all in, and she cares a great deal.
"I’ve seen her transform when she's approaching a character—whilst still being the mom who drops off the kids. She's such a curious individual, hungry for conversations that are important, that are thought-provoking. And she's also very generous with information that she learns; she just spreads it around. She is very much a leader, whether she is running a chat group of fellow mothers, organizing an event, or fundraising for causes she cares about.
"Mila has always been proud of who she is and where she comes from, and the sacrifices that her family made for her and her brother to come to America.
"She's also been very aware of what it must have been for her parents and grandparents and great-grandparents to have left it all behind. As daughters of immigrants, you understand that you stand in a certain box that makes you quite responsible very early in life. It is a mission and a responsibility and a blessing.
"Seeing her fundraise for Ukraine and raise tens of millions: it's what we have come to expect the Kutcher-Kunis clan to do, to always rise to the occasion. What needs to be done? They will take it upon themselves, they will initiate anything and everything in their power to be of service."
Ashton took to Twitter to share a link to Saldaña's comment and wrote: "Dear Time magazine, I already lose every argument I have with my wife. You just had to do this didn’t you?"
Numerous social media users replied with jokes of their own.
One fan commented: "Just keep your head down man. It's the safe option when it comes to dealing with a powerful wife. (I'm married to a high flying lawyer)."
Another added: "This is what every happy marriage looks like, the beautiful bossy wife tells us what to do and we happily accept their point of view... it is a win-win!"
A third replied: "I've learned over 22 years of marriage that the wife is always right. But we don't argue about much. It's more of a debate, but she must win those debates as well. I don't like sleeping on the couch!"
The pair met in the 1990s on the set of That 70s Show where they were cast as love interests Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart.
It wasn't until 2012, however, that they began dating off-screen too after Mila split with actor Macaulay Culkin and Ashton parted ways with wife Demi Moore.
The couple got engaged in February 2014 and married the following year, before having two children together, daughter Wyatt, now seven, and son Dimitri, 5.
