Ashish Vidyarthi burst onto the scene in 1994 with Govind Nihalani's Drohkaal. While another actor may have gotten overshadowed by co-stars like Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Manoj Bajpayee, Ashish walked away with a National Award for Best Supporting Actor. It was the launchpad for his career and over the next three decades, Ashish had several highs and lows, but never did he give up. Admittedly he discovered that there was a way out of personal insecurities and he accepted his unconventional looks and personality. In your recent interview you spoke about being ready for meaty roles. What has changed in the past few years?
