The biggest event in cricket is coming back to the UK this summer as England will take on Australia in five thrilling test matches in a bid to reclaim the Ashes.
It's been a long time since England tasted glory in the match up with 2015 being the last time they lifted the famous urn, however Ben Stokes' side have been in strong form of late and there is a real feeling they could provide the Aussies with a tough test this summer. Under the captaincy of Stokes, England have won 10 of their first 12 Tests and look in good shape under the watchful eye of Stokes and coach, Brendon McCullum.
As the format goes there will be two Tests in London, at Lord's and the Oval, one in Headingly and one at Old Trafford but the series will begin at Edgbaston. This summer will also see the women's team face off against their old rivals Australia for their Ashes series which will feature six matches.
When is the men's Ashes series happening?
First test: Edgbaston - Friday June 16 to Tuesday June 20.
Second Test: Lord's - Wednesday June 28 - Sunday July 2.
Third Test: Headingley - Thursday July 6 - Monday July 10
Fourth Test: Old Trafford - Wednesday July 19 - Sunday July 23
Fifth Test: The Kia Oval - Thursday July 27 - Monday July 31
When is the women's series happening?
Test match: Trent Bridge - Thursday June 22 - Monday June 26
First T20 international: Edgbaston - Saturday July 1
Second T20 international: The Kia Oval - Wednesday July 5
Third T20 international: Lord's - Saturday July 8
First one-day international: Bristol - Wednesday July 12
Second one-day international: The Ageas Bowl - Sunday July 16
Third one-day international: Taunton - Tuesday July 18

Where can you watch it?
Coverage of the Ashes in the UK will be hosted by Sky Sports with Sky Sports Cricket showing full coverage of each test. For the men's coverage, commentary will come from fan favourites Ian Ward, Mike Atherton, Mark Butcher and Nasser Hussain as well as some special guests. The women's team will feature Nick Knight, Isa Guha, Mel Jones, Simon Doull, Mark Butcher, Charlotte Edwards.
