Asda to give 100,000 workers £412 bonus as new gender pay gap figures reveal huge gaps

Supermarket chain Asda is giving 103,000 staff a bonus, with full-time workers getting £413 on average.

The news comes on the same day that the supermarket's annual pay gap figures reveal it pays women 8% less than men on average.

Asda today confirmed its staff would share a £27.8million bonus pot in their February pay packets.
