Asda has confirmed that it is to close "loss making" stores in the UK with a number of jobs at risk. The supermarket giant has made the decision to close certain stores after a consultation period.
However, the chain has promised to find all affected staff members roles elsewhere. A total of two Asda stores in the UK will be affected, with closures taking place in the coming months.
The affected stores sell clothing, entertainment good and homeware and do not sell groceries, reports Manchester Evening News.
