Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Lidl and M&S supermarket pay rates compared

Asda has become the latest supermarket to give workers a pay rise, confirming that the hourly rate for shop floor workers will increase from July.

The supermarket announced that pay for 120,000 workers will rise to £10.10, which is 60p more than the National Living Wage.

Introduced to set the minimum amount that companies should pay workers based on their age, the National Living Wage is currently £9.50 per hour for those aged over 23.
