ASDA shoppers are considering never getting a takeaway again after being blown away by £2.50 "fakeaway" meals.
With many of us trying to lower our outgoings, making the switch could potentially save households hundreds each year. Shoppers say they've been impressed by a Chinese-style "meal for one" which includes sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry, egg fried rice and spring rolls.
Another version includes chicken jalfrezi and tarkha dahl, while a third contains chicken tikka and saag aloo.

Shoppers were blown away by the quality and the quantity of the meal, according to the MEN, and shared their experiences on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page.
Julie Wiggins said: "I bought this from Asda. Wasn't expecting too much for [the price] but wow, it was lovely. Frozen meal for 1. They had an Indian one too. Popped the spring rolls in the air fryer."
Some shoppers said they'd ditch takeaways in place of the ASDA meals, while others raved about how good they taste. Maria Rogers said: "I have had this and it was really nice." Helen Cowdell agreed: "These are lovely… there's a firecracker chicken one and it’s so nice."
Sarah Carnell said: "I had the Indian one really nice and enough for one will be buying again." Rebekah Marie Smith added: "I had one last night, was just enough for one person and bang on for [the price]". Steph Marina said: "Never need to get a takeaway again!"
