Asda shoppers are in disbelief after spotting a new Toblerone bar for £3.50 - after it was previously on sale for £17.
The limited edition Toblerone Golden Caramel flavour caused a stir when it was released last month and on sale for the eye watering price tag on the Toblerone website. Many were keen to try the bar but couldn’t believe quite how much they’d have to pay for it.
However, the £17 meant shoppers had the option to have the bar personalised with a name and custom message. The product description on the Toblerone website read: "Finally a flavour worth its weight in gold. Our limited edition Golden Caramel flavour is perfect for that limited edition someone in your life.

"Personalise a Golden 360g bar and make it shine even brighter for that special someone. Add a name, write a custom message and make this limited edition a true original."
It looks like the limited edition bar is no longer available on the Toblerone website, however shoppers can now get their hands on the new flavour at Asda stores, after Instagram page newfoodsuk posted to say “Now available at @asda £3.50!”
Fans who were keen to try it couldn’t believe it was now more widely available - and at such a lower price. Andijaneway said: “And people spent £17 on it”. Clairetownjones added: “£3.50 now in asda... not £17 on the website”.
Liannewlf tagged a friend and said: “we need to get some!!!” 1966toffo asked a friend: “look out for this please, need to try”. _chloebridges said: “£3.50!!! Thats our kind of price”. Hollygudgin added: “I would really like one of these please”.
Xxandrenaxx said: “100% my weekend treat”. Xshawnee said: “off we go to Asda”. Fernhemmingxox said: “definitely have to try this out” and sophiiehu added: “Dude I swear it was like 17 quid before, what aha”.
