Asda shopper slams store for putting vegan food in meat aisle - but is branded a 'snowflake'

A shopper has accused Asda of being “insensitive” after finding the store's vegan range in the middle of the meat aisle.

They say it means people have to walk past “cut up parts of dead animals” and suggest the store should consider moving the display. The post on Facebook triggered a discussion about whether the vegan food is in the wrong place.

But Asda bosses defended the move, saying the plant-based food is placed near the meat to give options for 'flexitarians' who might want to swap out meat from their diet for an meat-free alternative, reports Devon Live.
