Asda is set to axe its Smart Price range in a huge shake-up.

The supermarket giant is launching a new and larger value range, amid the cost of living crisis. It comes as the grocer saw growth slow due to customers returning to pre-pandemic habits.

The grocers, which was bought by the Issa brothers and backers TDR Capital last year, said it will axe its Smart Price range. But the range will be replaced with new Just Essentials by Asda products.
