Asda offers workers extra paid day off for King Charles coronation - but there's a catch

Asda Big Help Out the Big Help Out

Asda staff will be given a paid day off for the King Charles III Coronation - but only if they want to volunteer.

The big four supermarket has announced that its hourly paid staff who are scheduled to work on Monday, May 8 can request a paid day off to participate in the Big Help Out.

The Big Help Out campaign is a national day of volunteering to mark the Coronation, with over 1,500 charities supporting the scheme.
