Asda has today announced that Blue Light Card holders will receive their discount through the supermarket’s Asda Rewards app. The change, from May 4 means that cardholders will continue to get 10% off their shopping in-store by scanning their Asda Rewards app at the checkout, rather than presenting their Blue Light Card and ID, as was previously the case.
Blue Light Card holders who scan their Asda Rewards app in-store for the first time between May 4 and May 31, will also receive a £2.50 bonus in their Cashpots, deposited in June.
