Supermarkets in the UK are recalling a number of food products due to safety fears, with a "do not eat" warning issued. Some of these items, which are sold at stores such as Asda, Lidl, Morrisons IKEA and Iceland, could pose health risks if consumed.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has asked shoppers to return the affected items as soon as possible, as some of them could contain small pieces of plastic, metal or allergy ingredients not listed on the label. Among the products are fish, meat, cheese, cake and mince pies as well as baby food, rice and cookie mix. People are asked to check recent purchases to make sure they have not bought any of the affected products.
Anyone who does have them in their freezer or cupboard is advised to take them back to the store they bought it from. Below is a list of all the recalled products, according to the FSA.
