Asda has issued an urgent three day warning for shoppers in the UK as huge changes are hitting stores from September 1. The chain has warned shoppers that it will affect each and every customers who buys products from them.
The supermarket giant has decided to axe best before dates from 250 fruit and veg items, opting to leave dates off fresh products such as potatoes, carrots, cauliflowers and citrus fruits.
Asda is aiming to reduce food waste through this move, in a time where millions in Britain are looking to save money any way that they can.
