Asda has cut the price of more than 35 period and sanitary products, some by up to 85p. It said it wanted to make the essential items as accessible as possible to those who need them.
The reduction affects some of the most popular brands as well as Asda's own brand range. The price cuts include Asda's Ultra Towels down to 50p and Asda Protect Liners (30pk) are now 40p.
A spokesperson at Asda said: “Sanitary and period products are essential items in so many of our customers’ baskets, so we’re proud to have reduced the price on a number of our popular branded and own brand lines, to help make these items more accessible, no matter your budget.”
