Asda customers were left divided after the supermarket giant announced a new packaging for fruit.
The packaging is brand new technology, produced by Apeel Science and according to Asda, this is the first time it will be used on this scale in the UK.
As the MEN reports, Apeel’s plant-based protection is made from the same materials found in peels, seeds and pulp and its aim is to slow down the spoiling process.
