Supermarket giant Asda has announced it will be bringing back the blue light discount in a move popular with many shoppers.
As inflation soars to nine per cent, many households are really struggling with food bills.
But as of Thursday night, workers in the NHS, emergency services, social services, social care sector and armed forces can now get 10% off their shopping, if they hold a Blue Light Card. It is not known at this time how long the scheme will last.
