ASDA and Wilko shoppers praise 79p product that turns yellow-stained pillows and sheets bright white

Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have been left dumbfounded after trying a £1.50 solution to getting yellow-stained pillowcases and bed sheets bright white in a matter of minutes.

No matter how clean you are, your pillows and sheets can easily become yellow-stained due to factors like sweat, or by going to bed with damp or oily hair. Many people's first thought is to throw away their bedding when it becomes yellow-stained, but with the cost of living crisis putting a squeeze on people's purse strings, this is no longer an option.

People are now looking for new and clever ways to keep their bedding looking brand new. The answer? Mrs Hinch.

Posting in the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one member asked for the 'best washing method' to keep her new sheets pristine and white. In the Facebook post, they wrote: "New white company bedding. What is the best washing method to keep it white - other than just a whites wash?" she questioned.

Rushing to the comment section, people were keen to share their insightful advice and budget-friendly solutions to the common issue. Taking to the post, people were in agreement over the same product - as one person said: "Dr. Beckmans white sachets."

"Dr Beckermans," another agreed. Dr. Beckmann Glowhite is a popular product amongst households and retails at the cost-effective price of 79p at ASDA.

The product is available to purchase from a variety of stories, including the likes of Tesco, Wilko, and Sainsbury's. While Facebook users were quick to praise the Dr. Beckmann product, others were keen to share their first-hand advice and opinion on efficient methods, says the Mirror.

One person said: "I always put vanish for whites in my washes." On the other hand, someone suggested: "White vinegar in softener tray, bicarb, always white and smells lovely for longer. Doing this for years. Good luck."
