King Charles has adopted his first dog in more than two decades, it has been announced, and is reportedly “besotted” with the newest addition to the Royal household.
The King, who is famously fond of Jack Russells, has fallen for a Lagotto Romagnolo puppy named Snuff, which he was given as a gift four weeks ago. The Kennel Club describes the Italian breed as “squarely built, small to medium sized dog of rustic appearance; sturdy and robust with dense, curly coat of woolly texture.”
