
As One Piece season 2 arrives on Netflix, there's never been a better time to catch up on the original anime – and now you can do it for free.Seasons 1 to 13 of the anime are now streaming for free on Pluto TV, which amounts to 1,028 episodes. That should be nearly enough to tide you over until One Piece season 3...There are 21 seasons of the anime, which premiered in 1999, out at the moment. Season 22 is coming in April 2026 after a short hiatus and will adapt the manga's Elbaph story arc.Both the live-action and anime series follow the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pals the Straw Hats as they explore the Grand Line in search of the elusive One Piece – the ultimate treasure, which will allow him to become King of the Pirates.As for what the titular One Piece actually is, only one person knows that – and the answer is now at the bottom of the ocean. Almost 30 years after the manga was first published, creator Eiichiro Oda has finally written down the answer, but he then sealed it in a locked container and let it sink 600 metres underwater. Although fans have come up with an expensive strategy to retrieve it, we'll probably just have to wait until the manga comes to an end instead.All episodes of One Piece season 2 are now available to watch on Netflix.
