As Buffalo victims are named, Americans wonder why ‘white supremacist’ teen could buy gun

A teen accused of a racially motivated mass murder had expressed disturbing views and previously made threats, it has been revealed – as victims of the “sickening, evil act” are remembered by family.

Buffalo suspect Payton Gendron was reportedly inspired by the 2019 Christchurch mosque attacks and believed in white supremacist “replacement theory”.
