Hi, I'm Valeza, Junior Shopping Editor here at Marie Claire UK and I'll be kicking off the Black Friday beauty deals.
As you can imagine, my job involves a lot of trialling beauty products as well as scrolling through the best ones online, and when I can find them at a discounted price, well that's even better.
Enter: Black Friday, AKA the biggest shopping event of the year where there are some amazing savings to be had across almost all of the best beauty brands, from Jo Malone to Dyson (yes that's right, they currently have an extra 40% off selected hair tools on eBay).
So I'm starting this live article with some of the best deals I've found while browsing the sales. Happy shopping.
Jo Malone's highly-coveted fragrances are never usually on sale, but we've found this brilliant deal on AllBeauty for Black Friday. Some perfumes are even under £50! Jo Malone is a real crowd pleaser, so it goes without saying that these would make brilliant Christmas gifts.
Classic scents like Lime Basil & Mandarin (was £118 now £105.95) are included in the sale, or for a more seasonal scent might we suggest Mandarin & Cardamon was £118 now £99.95? Shop them both below.
It's nearly the end of November, which means it's the perfect time to stock up on your beauty advent calendars - especially as most of the best styles are currently on sale for Black Friday.
My top pick? Net-a-Porter's offering, which was named the best value-for-money beauty advent calendar even before the extra 15% Black Friday discount. Including some truly stunning brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Anissa Kermiche and Dr Barbara Sturm, it's worth £1,332 but is currently only £192.50. Pretty impressive, right?
Executive Beauty Editor, Shannon Lawlor here ready to take over reporting on today's biggest Black Friday beauty deals. I have been hunched over my laptop like a croissant since 6am this morning, scouring the web for the best deals.
I don't make it a secret that I'm not a huge fan of Black Friday—I'm all about making sure people are shopping smart for their beauty products, instead of buying rubbish ones that don't work just because they're on deal. (You'll have to pardon my brutal honesty, I'm somewhat notorious for it.) And, surprisingly, today I have seen a fair few that I'm actually willing to recommend.
For starters, as an editor with a particular penchant for fragrance, I'm happy to report there are quite a few Black Friday perfume deals that I think are seriously impressive. I want to give a particular shoutout to Allbeauty's Black Friday Jo Malone deals (I'm stocking up on Meghan Markle's favourite, Wild Bluebell) and the number of retailers who are making Dior's iconic Miss Dior that bit more affordable.
There's also a handful of other deals across skincare, hair and make-up I think are actually worth it. So stay tuned for my live updates, coming right up...
I know, I know—Augustinus Bader is grotesquely expensive. However, as someone who has tried all of the best moisturisers out there, you'll just have to believe me when I say the brand's cult The Rich Cream really is one of the best around. Is it worth it's £100+ price tag? Only if you can afford to drop £140 on a 30ml moisturiser without batting an eyelid.
The excellent news today, however, is that Sephora has slashed its prices on Augustinus Bader by up to 30%. That means, if you're already a fan, you can get a 30ml version of The Rich Cream for less than £100.
My top tip? If you've been waiting to try out the brand but don't know if its products are for you, you can currently get 15ml versions of The Rich Cream and The Cream for £58.80. While I wouldn't usually condone buying smaller versions of things, for environmental reasons, in this case I think it's a pretty good idea (and I can assure you they last longer than you'd think).
I take great pride in my brows. I don't pluck, wax or thread—I let them grow free and wild. The issue with this is that my brows are very dark (almost black), so they require daily styling in order for my look to appear intentional. I have said it once and I'll say it again—Refy's Brow Tint is the best brow gel I have ever used. It keeps my brows in place all day, and the very impressive comb gets right to the base of each strand for optimum lift.

£70 off Dr Dennis Gross LED Face Mask
I'm a major lover of LED face masks to keep my skin clear, glowing and generally healthy looking. And it seems I'm not alone—one of my most asked questions as a beauty editor is what LED face mask can you recommend? Plus, loads of celebrities (from Victoria Beckham to Salma Hayek) also swear by the high-tech treatment.
The bad thing? They're extortionately expensive.
If, however, you've been after an LED mask for a while, have saved up and have just been waiting for the right time to strike in the form of an LED mask Black Friday deal, may I divert your attention to the Cult Beauty deal on Dr Dennis Gross's iconic LED mask. While I typically recommend saving Black Friday beauty purchases for high-ticket items where savings are much greater, I can't not talk about The Body Shop—who are doing 25% off the whole site with code BLACKFRIDAY.
Anyone who knows me will tell you this cleansing butter is my Roman Empire. I think about it all day, every day. If you're still using make-up wipes (gross) or micellar water to remove your make-up, I am willing to bet my house on the fact your skin will look so much better off for using The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Makeup Cleansing Butter instead. Just massage it into dry skin and let it melt all of the day's make-up and dirt away, before wiping off with a wet face cloth.
Everyone I've ever recommended it to is now considered a convert—I've even had people message me on Instagram thanking me for the intro.

For me, this means scouring the internet for my favourite beauty brand's deals. One of them being a cult-favourite French brand, Caudalie.
These are my top picks that I have previously tested, loved, and fully recommend.

If you missed my last post, know this about me: I don't condone buying beauty products (or anything for that matter) just because they're on deal. I'm frugal by nature. The reason? I hate having things in my surroundings that I'm not going to use. So here's another reminder to please only buy things you know you're really going to get the use out of this weekend. Black Friday and Cyber Weekend is not a time to justify your purchases with 'girl maths' (a saying I resent, by the way). If you've had your eye on something all year that you just know you're going to get the use out of, however, now is the time to purchase.
And with that being said, I'm here this morning to ensure you're not buying rubbish products that aren't worth your time, energy or money and are instead investing in things that I know are worth their weight in gold.
