New Delhi: Dr Arvind Panagariya appointed as Chairman of 16th Finance Commission. IAS officer Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey will be the secretary of the Commission.

Gadget notification has benn issued in this regard by the Department of Economic Affairs.

Dr Panagariya is the former NITI Aayog Vice Chairman and professor at Columbia University, USA.
