ARTUR BORUC has cheekily dodged mentioning Rangers as he reflected on a stellar 22-year career.
The Celtic hero hung up his gloves officially yesterday as he participated in his farewell fixture.
Ange Postecoglou's Hoops were the opponents for Legia Warsaw and the match finished in a 2-2 draw.
Speaking to Celtic TV after the game, Boruc said: "It is a relief. I can feel free finally.
"After 22 years, I wouldn't call myself professional 100 per cent, but I gave everything.
"I am really happy I can enjoy my family full time and that is the main thing for me.
"Celtic was an absolutely great time for me. Personally and football wise.
"Great European nights, trophies and domestically. The games against, you know, the opponents in Glasgow!
"It was just absolutely fantastic for me and for my personal life. It was probably the best."
Reflecting on his top moments in Glasgow, Boruc added: "There are a couple of games I can remember but most of the time it is the things part of football.
"Those Champions League nights were just amazing. I have never felt that again in my life.
"That probably sums it up. We had a great group of lads who gave everything every single day. That is what made us so good at the time."
