It has been rumoured that His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has put together one of the greatest boxing cards of all time for February 22nd. Should these rumours be true and the card is officially announced in the coming weeks, it could genuinely be the strongest boxing card from top to bottom of all time.
Artur Beterbiev defeated Dmitry Bivol in their undisputed light-heavyweight title fight back in October, in what was a highly controversial decision. Many fans had Beterbiev the winner, but plenty of fans and boxing figures felt Bivol was hard done by and arguably won the fight himself.
Calls for an immediate rematch were rife, and it looks like boxing fans could be getting their wish with the Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch heading to Saudi Arabia once again, just like their first fight in Riyadh on October 12th.
Also on this rumoured card, Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF World Heavyweight Title against former champion Joseph Parker. One man who is very confident that the Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch goes ahead is Matchroom Boxing kingpin Eddie Hearn. The British boxing promoter has been working alongside Dmitry Bivol for several years now, and is ‘very confident’ that a rematch will happen between the pair next.
Hearn has said in a recent interview with Boxing News that the rematch is the only fight to make at 175-pounds for both men, and that he is almost certain that fight will be next, perhaps on the February 22nd card in Riyadh:

The promoter of Anthony Joshua, Katie Taylor and other household names thought his man Bivol deserved to win the first fight. The Matchroom Boxing man was disappointed in the decision, calling it a disgrace amongst other words.
