An artist who survived the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers has told how she feels a part of her was “left behind” that day 25 years ago.

Vanessa Lawrence was taking part in an artists’ residency on the 91st Floor of the North Tower at the World Trade Centre in New York when the attack happened on September 11 2001.
