An artist set to perform at this year’s Parklife festival has been forced to pull out just hours before they were set to perform on the main stage.
Scottish singer Joesef, who released his debut album Permanent Damage earlier this year, was due to perform on the Parklife Stage at 1.50pm this afternoon, ahead of performances from Knucks, Shygirl, Mimi Webb and RAYE.
However, Parklife bosses have revealed the singer will now no longer be performing due to an illness, which has led to some tweaks today’s set times. Parklife tweeted: “Unfortunately Joesef can no longer perform today due to illness. Please refresh the app for updated set times.”

The Parklife Stage will be headlined by Little Simz and Manchester rapper Aitch this evening, and will be fronted by Wu-Tang Clan + NAS, Self Esteem and The 1975 on Sunday night.
More than 70,000 people are expected to flock to Heaton Park over the weekend and it’s set to be a scorcher with the weather looking mostly nice. However, there are thunderstorm warnings in place for this afternoon.
Spanning over nine stages, there will be everything from house, drum N bass, pop, rock and rap for festival-goers to enjoy with the first performers expected to take the stage from 11am until 11pm on both nights.
We'll be live blogging today's events from the Manchester festival here.
