Bored Panda got in touch with the artist once again and asked some questions about his unique art. Pierre’s graffiti portfolio includes a variety of subjects like animals, skulls, and robots. We were wondering if these recurring elements reflect his artistic vision or personal experiences. The artist shared with us that these elements do indeed have significance to him: “I paint a lot of elements that have meaning for me.” Bertolotti elaborated: “I try to paint classic movies or video games. Jurassic Park, Jaws and many movies from the '90s are my biggest sources of inspiration for me. Since I was a child, I lived in this world.”

When asked about specific techniques and tools he uses to create such detailed and realistic effects, like shadows, highlights, and gloss, Pierre told us about some methods he uses: “I don’t really have a secret technique. I take a lot of time on each painting. I like to paint and go home in the evening and check all the details that I don’t like to redo them the next day. I take my time.”

Next, we wanted Pierre to tell us some of his biggest influences, both within and outside the street art community. The artist said: “Many artists influenced me a lot when I started. Ozer or Nash (peace to his soul) is used for the cartoon side, and Alex from Mac is used for the realistic side. Otherwise, my models are more Pixar or Disney or the animation studio Illumination. I would really like my paintings to be like cartoons.”

Lastly, we were curious which painting among all of Pierre’s works is his personal favorite. The artist answered: “I really like the dragon I made with Abys in Mexico. Also, the Ecto1 car from Ghost Busters, which, for me, is a childhood dream.” He explained why these pieces have a special place in his heart: "I like to see what I dreamed of as a child. I just want to dream again and again for a very long time. I hope like Peter Pan, lol.”
