Seven of West Ham United’s players currently out on loan were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend.
Of the 10 Hammers players away on loan, three were not in action, with Jacob Knightbridge (Harrow Borough), Joseph Anang (Derby County) and Armstrong Okoflex (Swansea City) all not featuring for their sides.
However, here is a look at the seven that were in action and how they fared over the weekend.

Nikola Vlasic (Torino)
Croatian forward Nikola Vlasic played in the duration of Torino’s 1-0 defeat to arch-rivals Juventus on Saturday in Serie A. Having had a brilliant start to life at Torino with three goals in his first five games, Vlasic has not scored in any of his last five appearances in Italy’s top-flight.
Arthur Masuaku (Besiktas)
Arthur Masuaku started at left-back and played in the duration of Besiktas’ 2-2 draw on Sunday with Trabzonspor. Masuaku made a major error in the game, accidentally playing former Aston Villa forward Trezeguet through on goal for him to make it 2-1 to Trabzonspor. Masuaku later apologised for the mistake posting on Twitter: “One for me today, sorry to the fans and my team.. we deserved to win today. The love is felt and I appreciate you all. From tomorrow we go again. One Love,” followed by a heart emoji.
Nathan Trott (Vejle)
Speaking of bad weekends, goalkeeper Nathan Trott was shown a straight red card for a professional foul in the 18 th minute of their meeting with Hobro. The red card came at 0-0, with Vejle going to lose 3-0. However, they remain top of the Danish first division by a point.
Manny Longelo (Birmingham City)
On a more positive note, Manny Longelo played at left wing-back in Birmingham City’s 2-0 win away at Hull City on Sunday afternoon. He has helped his side win and keep clean sheets in each of their last two games, making two tackles and two interceptions against the Tigers.
Daniel Chesters (Colchester United)
Winger Daniel Chesters featured off the bench for Colchester United but was unable to make an impact in their 1-0 win defeat away at Swindon Town on Saturday.
Mipo Odubeko (Port Vale)
Mipo Odubeko came off the bench for Port Vale in their League One meeting at home to Forest Green Rovers and within eight minutes, scored to start for the Staffordshire side’s comeback, with Ellis Harrison later making 2-2 to earn Port Vale a point.
Thierry Nevers (Newport County)
Like Odubeko, forward Thierry Nevers played for the final 21 minutes of Newport County’s 2-1 defeat away at Crawley Town on Saturday.
