Arthur Fery denied maiden ATP title in agonising final defeat before US Open

Arthur Fery was cruelly denied a maiden ATP Tour title as he was beaten by Igancio Buse at the Winston-Salem Open.

The Briton, playing in his second tournament since his miraculous run to the Wimbledon semi-finals earlier this summer, had reached the final in North Carolina, dropping just one set in the process.
