Hetain Patel, a UK based visual and performance artist, who is in the country for a workshop conducted by the British Council India and also, for India Art Fair talks about his work, his vision and how he embarked on this artistic journey. Patel also has a very strong message for the budding artists of this generation.
"Art is a reflection of the country's culture. I think art is a reflection of the people. Art and creativity are uniquely human. It's an expression of things that does not necessarily have to have a practical approach. Those expressions are hugely determined by a number of factors like the country you grew up in, the situation you have been through. The expression in Arts says a lot of people," Patel says.
