Alder Hey Children's Charity is hosting an art exhibition in a bid to raise money for the charity's mental health services.
The charity's first ever art exhibition, Brighter Futures at the Maritime Museum, will hold a public viewing on March 12 and 13, 2022.
The free exhibition showcases the work of celebrated artists who have come together to support the hospital's brave young patients.

Based on first-hand experience, the charity has seen the positive impact its Arts for Health programme can have on the mental health and well-being of recovering patients.
Funds raised through the art auction will support the Alder Hey Charity 7 in 10 Children's Mental Health Appeal. The appeal is designed to help create brighter futures for young people by providing bespoke facilities from which Alder Hey can deliver the highest levels of care and support for mental health.
This unique exhibition, which offers free entry, will provide the opportunity to view works by prominent artists including Yoko Ono, Tony Ross and Willy Russell. Brighter Futures has been curated to offer a wide range of valuations, making it accessible to a variety of art lovers, collectors and casual buyers.
In addition, British artist Rachael Howard worked with patients at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to create their own artwork through printmaking.
The individual pieces have been interconnected to produce a single striking artwork which will also be sold at auction. This unique opportunity was met with great excitement from the young people involved in the project, who enjoyed creating their own pieces to keep and take home with them.

The new Mental Health Hub, which will benefit from the 7 in 10 Appeal, aims to transform the lives of many young people from within the region.
