Arsene Wenger has confessed he made a mistake with one of his substitutions as Arsenal frantically attempted to defend their narrow advantage in the 2006 Champions League final against Barcelona.
Sol Campbell had given the Gunners an unlikely lead towards the end of the first half despite Jens Lehmann receiving an early red card. The North London club saw out the majority of the second half, too, to leave themselves just quarter of an hour from their first Champions League triumph.
However, Barca equalised through Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti came off the bench to snatch victory for the Catalans and break Arsenal hearts.
