Arsenal XI vs Wolves: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Leading the line: Arsenal will need Viktor Gyokeres back amongst the goals soon - (London Standard)

Arsenal have Declan Rice, William Saliba and Jurrien Timber back from injury for tonight’s clash with Wolves in the Premier League.

Rice was ill in midweek and missed the Champions League win over Club Brugge and William Saliba had been struggling with an ankle issue.

“[Saliba] hasn’t trained with us yet,” said Arsenal boss Arteta on Friday morning. “We have an extra day, we train this afternoon. Let’s see if he can be available or not.

“If you asked me [about the] Everton game [next weekend], I think he will be fit. For tomorrow, I don’t know.

“It came from an ankle injury that he had and then it started to modify the way he was running and all that. He started to overload an area, which is something common.”

Both Rice and Saliba have been passed fit to start at the Emirates Staduym alongside Timber who is set to operate at left-back in place of Riccardo Calafiori.

Calafiori is absent due to suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend at Aston Villa.

In attack, Viktor Gyokeres leads the line again after starting in Belgium on Wednesday and getting just over an hour under his belt.

Bukayo Saka was rested for that game and returns for Noni Madueke while Gabriel Martinelli starts on the left. In midfield, Eberechi Eze gets the nod over captain Martin Odegaard.
