Jurrien Timber starts in defence despite being forced off in Sunday’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Premier League title rivals Liverpool, while William Saliba comes straight back in after serving his one-match suspension at the weekend.

Mikel Arteta has a strong bench to call upon if needed featuring the likes of Raya, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey as well as youngsters Lewis-Skelly, Ayden Heaven and Josh Nichols.

Arsenal XI: Setford, Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Merino, Nwaneri, Sterling, Martinelli, Jesus
