Arsenal win Women’s Champions League as Stina Blackstenius goal downs Barcelona

Stina Blackstenius won it for Arsenal (Zed Jameson/PA) - (PA Wire)

Arsenal won the Women’s Champions League and shocked defending champions Barcelona after substitute Stina Blackstenius struck in the second half of their 1-0 final victory in Lisbon.

The Gunners remain the only English side to have lifted the Women’s Champions League trophy, having also done it 18 years ago as part of their quadruple-winning season in 2007.
