Arsenal have been told that the true progress of Mikel Arteta’s reign will be put to the test when they face Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The Gunners enjoyed a routine 2-0 victory over Leicester City, to extend their winning run in the Premier League to five, with nine wins in their last 10 putting them in the driving seat to secure a top-four finish.
Following the win, which was earned through goals by Thomas Partey and Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal moved back into the Champions League berths, leapfrogging West Ham and Manchester United in the process.
