With their pre-season tour of Singapore and Hong Kong now complete, Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium to face Villarreal in their penultimate fixture before the new Premier League campaign gets underway.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be looking to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat to north London rivals Tottenham, a result that blemished an otherwise perfect pre-season, which had included victories over Newcastle and AC Milan.
