Manchester City's top-of-the-table clash with Arsenal could be put back until next year.
Arsenal's Europa League tie against PSV Eindhoven tomorrow has been postponed due to a lack of police numbers in the wake of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Gunners are due to host City at the Emirates Stadium on October 19, but their rearranged Europa League tie against PSV is likely to be switched to that date.
Europa League group stage fixtures have to be fulfilled by November 3, before a month-long break for the winter World Cup.
That means City's game against Arsenal is set to be put back until 2023, with Guardiola's side also needing to find space in the busy calendar to play their Premier League clash with Tottenham.
“The Premier League has the ability to find room for the fixtures,” said Guardiola.
“Maybe the Tottenham game will be in February or March because now I think it's not possible. We will find a way.
“There's Carabao Cup, FA Cups at that moment – but we will find a way, we are going to play this postponed game, it's not a problem.
“Always the fixtures were so tight every season.
“Now it's different because we stop - not the players but the backroom staff are going to stop and have a break in the winter time, like how it normally is in Germany."

“Afterwards we'll see how they come back. After the international break, we'll have one month and a half with a lot of games.
“We have seven Premier League games, five games at home, it depends if the Arsenal game will be postponed or not. Then the World Cup.
“And after, we'll see how the players come back from the World Cup, especially their moods - good moods, bad moods, after what happened with their international teams.
“After that, in the last three or four months of competition, we do all we can to be there at the end.”
Arsenal, who are managed by former Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta, currently sit top of the Premier League. However, they missed an opportunity to extend their lead at the summit when they lost 3-1 to Manchester United in their last domestic game.
City had a Saturday game against Tottenham Hotspur postponed in the wake of the Queen's death, while Arsenal's home meeting with Everton will also need to be rescheduled. Both teams will be in action this weekend, though, with City facing an away game against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal travelling to Brentford.
Three other league games have been postponed, though, for various reasons. Policing issues in the lead-up to the Queen's funeral have prompted the postponement of Chelsea v Liverpool and Manchester United v Leeds United, while Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace was postponed earlier due to planned train strikes.
