Arsenal have been short at right-back this season following Takehiro Tomiyasu's continued injury concerns.
Ben White, naturally a centre-back, has played 40 games on the right of Mikel Arteta's defence throughout the campaign. His shift to right-back was a result of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba's partnership at centre-back, as well as Tomiyasu's injury.
Despite reports that Cedric Soares will return to north London from his loan spell with Fulham with the desire to fight for his place in pre-season, the Gunners have been linked with a number of right-backs ahead of the summer.

Galatasaray's Sacha Boey has attracted interest from around Europe after impressing in his second season in Turkey. The French defender has appeared 31 times for the Turkish side, helping them lead the way in the Turkish Super Lig over Fenerbahce.
In April, it was reported that Arsenal had sent scouts to watch the defender and were left impressed. Their interest accelerated after Boey admitted he may leave at the end of the season. "I experience the lows, the highs," he told L'Equipe. "My performance is consistent now. I think it's time to turn a corner but we'll see at the end of the season depending on what happens."
And following reports from Turkey that the Gunners had a £14.7million bid turned down, Boey has sealed a move that may edge him closer to a move to England.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the right-back has signed with agency CAA Stellar. The Italian journalist has claimed members of the sports agency have visited London this week to negotiate with English clubs, with the switch said to be in anticipation of a potential summer move.
CAA Stellar currently represent a number of Premier League players, many who have secured big money moves in recent years. Jack Grealish (£100m), Kalvin Phillips (£45m), Ben Chilwell (£50m), Ibrahima Konate (£36m), Morgan Gibbs-White (£42.5m) and Gianluca Scamacca (£35.5m).
With Boey's comments and his switch in agency, everything is pointing towards a summer move for the right-back and it would not be cheap for Arsenal.
