Mudryk has emerged as the priority for Arsenal, with the club making contact with regards to a move for a player who has recorded ten goals and eight assists so far this season.

Three of those goals came in the Champions League, with the 21-year-old impressing as Shakhtar finished third in their group behind RB Leipzig and Real Madrid. This has given many of Europe's top clubs cause to eye the winger for whom a potential move could see Gabriel Martinelli play as a striker in the absence of Gabriel Jesus.

He would fit the club's policy of signing players under the age of 25 as well as linking well with established first-team left-back and Ukraine international teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko.
