Arsenal transfer news: Mohammed Kudus sends Edu message as Youri Tielemans reservations revealed

Your morning Arsenal transfer round-up on Saturday, December 3.

Kudus message

Arsenal transfer target Mohammed Kudus has further shown why 12 clubs are believed to be hopeful of signing the Ajax star with another impressive World Cup moment. Kudus has started all of Ghana's World Cup group stage fixtures, although his nation were knocked out of the World Cup on FVriday after losing 2-0 to Uruguay in their final Group H game.

Kudus scored two superb goals in the win over South Korea earlier in the group and understandably following his display, the talk of a possible transfer away from Ajax significantly increased, with Liverpool, who were interested in the summer, being joined by Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United in possible transfer race.

Once again Kudus was at the heart of everything good Ghana did in their World Cup clash with Uruguay which included a clear message to Edu of what he can offer the Gunners.

Tielemans 'reservations'

Arsenal's transfer pursuit of Youri Tielemans has continued for over one-year now, with links suggesting they could make a switch in the upcoming January window or on a free transfer next summer. However, fresh reports claim that there may be doubts emerging over a switch for the Belgian.

It comes ahead of a potentially huge winter period for the Gunners, who could look to strengthen their depth to continue their great start to the season. Mikel Arteta has guided his team to the top of the Premier League at the World Cup break.

Tielemans seems destined for an arrival in Arsenal once his contract expires in the summer but transfer expert Dean Jones has now claimed in a discussion with GiveMeSport that may not be the case.

David Premier League claim

Although it was a disappointing campaign for Jonathan David and Canada, his domestic displays with Lille have shown he is an excellent forward in the midst of him being linked with a potential Premier League move to Arsenal and Man United. The 22-year-old has now commented on his transfer future which included a huge claim about England's top division.

"I am aware of nothing," David said when asked about his immediate future. "When I am at the World Cup I am just focused on trying to enjoy the World Cup and enjoying the moment. What happens after I do not know, we will have to see.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world and I think every player would want to play there some day. What makes the difference at the highest level is the smallest differences.

"Any player who plays at the World Cup, no matter what the outcome, you become a better player, you learn from it, and it helps you grow."
