Here is your Arsenal transfer roundup on Friday, December 23.
Edu 'ready' to make Rabiot bid
Arsenal are reportedly 'ready' to make their first move to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in January rather than waiting for his contract to expire in the summer.
Rabiot, 27, enters the final six months of his contract in Italy in January, opening the door to overseas clubs to discuss a pre-contract agreement for the summer. It's expected that the France international will not extend his stay at the Juventus Stadium and will have a queue of possible suitors to choose from.
According to Italian outlet La Repubblica (via 101 Great Goals), the Gunners are 'ready' to negotiate a move next month instead of next summer.
The story claims Juve will request €15million (£13.2million) for the midfielder, which is €10million less than CIES Football Observatory's valuation. However, Rabiot's €192,307k-per-week (£169,321) wage demand is likely to be a stumbling block in the deal.

Mudryk boost
Arsenal could have been handed a huge boost in their approach for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk after reports suggest the Ukrainians could have identified a replacement.
Brazilian outlet UOL claim that the Ukrainian side are eyeing a move for Botafogo winger Jeffinho as an option in the coming weeks. The 22-year-old could be a potential replacement to Mudryk, opening up the possibility of a January window move to Arsenal.
Torres interest real
Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres has been touted as another option to bolster Arteta's forward options.
The 22-year-old has scored five goals for Xavi's side this season and could be on his way to the Emirates Stadium with his ability to play out wide or as a number nine.
And as speculation continues to grow, transfer reporter Dean Jones has revealed Arsenal's stance on the possibility of signing Torres. Speaking to GiveMeSport, he said: "They really like Ferran Torres, and they clearly believe he might become available because they inquired about him in the summer as well.
"So, if they're sniffing around him again now, they sense that something's up."
