Raphinha
Arsenal have been told to increase their offer for Raphinha after having an opening bid rejected by Leeds, writes Standard Sport’s Giuseppe Muro.
The Gunners have turned their attention to signing Raphinha and wrapping up a deal for Gabriel Jesus after completing the £34million transfer of Fabio Vieira yesterday.
Leeds value Raphinha at around £60m and have told Arsenal their initial offer falls well below their asking price for the 25-year-old, who is also attracting interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Barcelona after impressing in his two seasons in England.
Arsenal have identified Raphinha as one of their primary transfer targets and are likely to return with a second bid as they seek to strengthen their attacking options.
Richarlison
Arsenal are also leading the chase for Richarlison, according to the Daily Star.
According to journalist Paul Brown, the Brazilian's representatives are looking for avenues out of Everton but Tottenham’s interest in a deal has been "exaggerated" and Chelsea are concentrating on other targets.
However, Arsenal maintain a good relationship with those involved as other clubs weigh up a bid.
Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal will make Gabriel Jesus their highest earner, according to reports in France.
L’Equipe journalist Nabil Djellit says Mikel Arteta has offered a “monster” wage of around £330,000 a week and even more should the club qualify for the Champions League.
That will raise eyebrows.
