Havertz agreement
Arsenal are close to an agreement to sign Kai Havertz from London rivals Chelsea, according to the Athletic. It is claimed that a deal would cost the Gunners around £65million as they look to finalise the structure of the transfer, including possible instalments and add-ons. Personal terms with the German international are said to have already been agreed upon.
Timber 'mystery' clause
Arsenal are pushing to sign Ajax centre-back Jurrien Timber this summer. Fortunately for the Gunners in their attempts to negotiate a deal with Ajax. According to Dutch journalist Johan Inan, Timber and Ajax agreed on a release clause when he extended his contract last summer.
The clause will become active in two weeks, though no exact figure has been disclosed. Nevertheless, it does provide Arsenal with the opportunity to identify what sort of fee they will need to offer to complete the signing of the defender.
Saudi clubs want Partey
Three Saudi Arabian sides have shown an interest in signing Arsenal star Thomas Partey, according to recent reports. CBS Sports have claimed that Saudi trio Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Khaleej are all keen on the Ghana international, who will be into the final two years of his contract with Mikel Arteta's side come the end of the month
