Arsenal and Manchester United target Christopher Nkunku has ranked among the top three best performing players in the Bundesliga this month. The 24-year-old's dazzling displays have warranted his eye-watering price tag amid growing interest from a host of Europe's leading sides.
Nkunku, who's reportedly been quoted at £62m, has ranked behind only Nico Schlotterbeck and Angelino this month in the Bundesliga, ahead of the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland. The RB Leipzig talisman has directly contributed towards three goals in three games in March, taking his tally across all competitions up to 41 for the season.
The forward's performances earned international recognition, with Didier Deschamps handing Nkunku his senior debut for France against Ivory Coast. Now, with both international and domestic pedigree on his credentials, Arteta has been proven why Edu should reignite interest and lock horns with United for the Frenchman's signature.

According to German outlet BILD, Ralf Rangnick's side are in the race to sign Nkunku in the summer transfer window. The Gunners were heavily linked to the Frenchman in the January window of 2019 when he was still a player at Paris Saint-Germain.
Since Arsenal’s failure to sign the versatile forward under previous manager Unai Emery, Nkunku has gone on to become of Europe’s most sought-after players. He, who 'has no weaknesses', could be a fantastic coup for Arteta in Arsenal's race with United for Champions League qualification.
While Nkunku is far from the traditional number nine, he has plied his trade with great effect as a false-nine. Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, who previously worked with the Frenchman at Leipzig, has already given Edu a stamp of approval.
"We have spoken to Christopher a lot about playing on the counter, and also what he needs to do to play as a striker, a no.10 and on both wings," Marsch said. "Christopher has no weaknesses. He is young and still wants a lot more.
“It’s always a good thing when a young player listens to the things we say and also wants to implement them. Working with him is a lot of fun as he is really intelligent and has a lot of potential.”
