Arsenal told to be ready for 'difficult' Elland Road challenge against Leeds United

Former Premier League defender and talkSPORT pundit Scott Minto has said that he believes Arsenal could 'struggle' against Leeds United this weekend but ultimately expects them to come out on top.

Leeds haven't lost at home this season but will have to face their biggest test so far in the form of Mikel Arteta's Gunners who currently sit atop the league table.

The London side have won eight of their first nine games with their only loss coming against Manchester United in September but have looked incredibly strong after their 3-2 win against Liverpool last weekend.

Speaking on the GameDay podcast alongside Sam Matterface and Alex Crook, Minto highlighted the difficulty of playing at Elland Road as the visitors and how Leeds could get something out of the game.

"Look, Leeds away is a difficult game and Arsenal have struggled over the last few years, Elland Road is not an easy place to go.

"We know how much they'll be up for it, we saw how good they played against Chelsea earlier in the season and of course, Chelsea were terrible that day but Arsenal, for me, are the second best team in the country.

"They're playing with such confidence at the moment that I think they'll be able to handle the mentality nowadays, that big match mentality which they didn't have last season.

"Leeds, if they win some, draw some, lose some, they'll be absolutely fine. But I feel like if they come up against these top teams, they'll lose and that's what Arsenal are right now."
